Whether you are a beginner that has never surfed, a returning student, or a novice waterman trying to brush up on some skills, we will make sure you are guided and pushed to achieve success.
Surf Lessons
All surfing classes are private, so you will only be with your family and friends. We are devoted to ensuring every student advances their skills, gains confidence and leaves accomplished!
Board & Wet Suit Rentals
Board rentals are reasonably priced at $35 per 24hrs.
Board Repairs
Board repairs are priced by severity of damage. Contact us for more information.
Our second time having a lesson and renting boards for the day from EI surf lessons. My 16 year old daughter and I did a lesson this time with Zach, who was very professional, personable and knowledgeable and had us getting up on waves quickly, and provided helpful feedback throughout.

FAQ’s
Are there age limits on lessons?
⁃ No, there are not age limits on lessons, however, we do expect a certain level of athleticism from each student.
What if I am not a strong swimmer?
⁃ Not to worry, all students are attached to 8’+ buoyant board and assisted by an instructor.
What if I don’t have a board?
⁃ EI Surf Lessons provides a board for each student based on height and weight for entire duration of lesson.
When is the best time to get a surf lesson?
– Surf changes by the hour, the only recommendation we have is to book closest to your arrival date to allow time for rescheduling due to weather.
Do you provide board rentals?
⁃ Yes. We offer 24hr board rentals starting at $25.
How can I tip my instructor?
⁃ Your instructor keeps 100% of the gratuity given. Your instructor can accept cash at the time of the lesson. If you would like to tip, but unable to at the time of the lesson, please see the thank you email sent before the lesson.

Do you provide wetsuits?
⁃ Yes, EI Surf Lessons carries enough variety in wetsuits to accommodate for most students during winter months.
CANCELATION POLICY
Cancelations GREATER THAN 48 hours from the time of your lesson will receive a gift card for the amount paid or reschedule at no extra cost.
Cancelations WITHIN 24 hours of your lesson will receive a gift card for the price of the lesson minus $20 for last minute cancellation. This ensures instructors are paid, as their work schedules are set weeks in advance.
